New progress in the modernization project of the Snowfield Slow Line

On June 12, 2025, one of the key projects of this service - the modernization project of the Sherfield Slow Line - ushered in an important moment: the track sections of the entire line have been modernized and test operations have begun. Next, each station will be gradually transformed to meet modern requirements and better serve passengers. The current Sheffield slowdown line is divided into three parts:

• Main line (Pujiang end-Ningzhou): Branch off from the Shenye branch line at Shalingzi Station, and the western section is expected to extend to the Abydos area.
• Shenye branch line (Shenye-Shalingzi): connected with the main line, serving the local people in Shenye.
• Bauhinia branch line (Zijingshan-Shenye): regional connection line, and directly connected to Tadano depot. On June 20, Verviers Station completed its renovation. Not only did it have a larger and wider platform and concourse, it also underwent barrier-free renovation and added a barrier-free elevator connecting the platform and concourse. #New progress of Comet Express Line C This month, another key project of this server - Comet Express Line C has also made new progress: The C section of the Comet Express at South Bank Central Station was restructured and completed on June 24. The No. 2 High-Speed Section in the Southern District has also been rebuilt, a new tunnel has been connected, and Section C of the Southern District No. 2 High-Speed Station Express Line has also been completed.
