This document is an ancillary document to the "KR Minecraft Member Code of Conduct". However, as the relevant provisions are not yet finalized, this document currently serves as an independent and legally binding regulation.
This regulation applies to:
- The "KR Minecraft" server
- All resource packs provided or used by the KR Minecraft server (hereinafter referred to as Resource Packs).
Considering that the Resource Packs provided by the server are increasingly rich and include licensed paid resources, this regulation is established to effectively protect intellectual property rights and strictly prevent any unauthorized exploitation by malicious individuals, imposing strict restrictions on the use of all Resource Packs.
Definition of Management Team: Refers to individuals who possess server management privileges. QQ group admin ≠ Server management.
Chapter 1: Composition, Usage Restrictions, and IP Protection of Resource Packs
1. Composition and Definition of Resource Packs
The Resource Packs used by the KR Minecraft server include the following types, all of which are bound by this regulation:
- Self-Developed Resources ("KR Proprietary IP Content"): Refers to all content originally created and produced by the KR Minecraft management team, members, or authorized developers (such as custom models, textures, images, audio files, etc.). All or part of the intellectual property rights for this content belong to KR Minecraft.
- Purchased/Licensed Resources ("Third-Party Licensed Content"): Refers to third-party original paid resources or content introduced through purchase, licensing, or agreements. The intellectual property rights for this content belong to the original authors or licensors; KR Minecraft only holds the right to use it within the server.
2. Limitation of Usage Scope
- Locations for Resource Pack Usage: Any use of Resource Packs outside the KR Minecraft server must receive explicit authorization.
- Prohibition of Unauthorized Use: Unless written consent is obtained from the KR Minecraft Management Team, players must not install or run any resource pack obtained through KR Minecraft channels in any location outside of KR Minecraft (including but not limited to private single-player worlds, other servers, single-player saves, etc.).
3. Intellectual Property and Distribution Restrictions
Players must not engage in the following actions:
- Leaking, Distribution, and Copying of Resource Packs: Players must not leak, distribute, or copy any Resource Packs provided by KR Minecraft (regardless of whether the content is self-developed or third-party licensed content).
- Commercial Activities Regarding All Resources:
- a. Commercial Behavior: Selling, attempting to sell, offering for sale, or inviting others to purchase any Resource Packs provided by KR Minecraft or on behalf of KR Minecraft.
- b. It is strictly prohibited to use any Third-Party Licensed Content obtained from the KR Minecraft server—whether standalone or mixed—for any form of commercial purpose or redistribution, as its intellectual property belongs to the original author.
4. Modifications Restrictions
Player access permissions for Resource Packs are strictly limited to gameplay.
- Prohibition of Modifications: Players must not alter, modify, or reverse-engineer Resource Packs in any form. This includes, but is not limited to:
- a. Altering block textures and images.
- b. Modifying train liveries and models.
- c. Modifying audio files and configurations.
5. Restrictions on Player-Provided Resource Packs (Newly Added)
In order to maintain server copyright compliance, performance stability, and content balance, players must not privately use any resource packs (including but not limited to texture packs, shaders, model packs, etc.) on the KR Minecraft server without authorization from the management team.
- Avoidance of Infringement Risks: Players should especially refrain from privately using any resource packs carrying infringement risks or additional server usage restrictions. Even if a player claims personal purchase, copyright agreement conflicts or technical issues could still negatively impact the server.
- Resource Pack Addition Process: If a player wishes to add, integrate, or use specific resource packs on the server, they should contact the management team through official channels for application and evaluation.
Chapter 2: Legal Liability and Final Right of Interpretation
1. Legal Liability and Prosecution
If any person violates the above regulations, the KR Minecraft Management Team reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against the violator in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Basis for Prosecution: Prosecution will primarily be conducted pursuant to the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China.
- Non-Mainland China Users: For users outside Mainland China, prosecution will be handled in accordance with the corresponding copyright laws of their jurisdiction.
2. Consequences of Violations and Disclaimer
Users of Resource Packs must be held responsible for their own actions.
- Disclaimer: If a user violates the above regulations (including but not limited to distributing paid add-on content contained within Resource Packs), all resulting legal liabilities and financial consequences shall be borne solely by the user. KR Minecraft assumes no liability whatsoever.
- Management Measures: If a user violates the above regulations, KR Minecraft reserves the right to take the following actions:
- a. Account Suspension: Banning the user's account on the KR Minecraft server.
- b. External Notification: Reporting the user's violation to other servers or relevant platforms.
3. Final Right of Interpretation
For matters not explicitly covered in these regulations, the Management Team (as defined above) holds the following rights regarding these terms:
